World Food Day is on 16th October every year.
The day is to raise awareness about global hunger and promote action and highlight the importance of ending hunger and ensuring access to nutritious food for all.
The day serves as a global reminder that hunger, malnutrition, and food insecurity remain pressing issues. Despite progress, millions of people still face hunger, with recent reports indicating that around 1 in 12 people globally experience hunger.
