Introduction

Among the greatest blessings Allah ﷻ grants a believer is the opportunity to leave behind a legacy that continues to earn rewards long after they have departed this world. In Islam, this is known as Sadaqah Jariyah—a continuous charity that benefits people for generations.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“When a person dies, all of their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.” (Sahih Muslim)

One of the most powerful forms of Sadaqah Jariyah is helping to build a Masjid. Every prayer performed, every verse of the Qur’an recited, every child who learns Islam, and every heart that remembers Allah within its walls becomes a source of ongoing reward for those who helped make it possible.

A Community Without a Masjid

Across rural Pakistan, many communities still live without a local Masjid. For families in these villages, attending the five daily prayers or Jumu’ah often means walking several miles, sometimes in difficult weather and over challenging terrain. Elderly residents, women, and young children are frequently unable to make these journeys.

Without a Masjid, children have limited access to Qur’an education, communities lack a central place for worship and Islamic learning, and opportunities to strengthen faith and unity become scarce.

A Masjid is far more than a building. It is the heart of the community—a place where people gather to worship Allah, seek knowledge, resolve community matters, celebrate joyous occasions, and support one another through difficult times.

Your Sadaqah Jariyah Can Change Lives

Through Ehsaas Foundation, you can help build Masjids for underserved communities in Pakistan where there is no nearby place of worship. These projects provide villages with a permanent home for prayer, Islamic education, and community development.

Whether you sponsor an entire Masjid or contribute towards its construction, your donation becomes part of a lasting legacy. Every salah performed, every child learning the Qur’an, every khutbah delivered, and every act of worship within the Masjid contributes to ongoing rewards, by the permission of Allah.

Ehsaas Foundation also provides donors who fully sponsor a Masjid with a personalised feedback report, including the location, photographs, and details of the completed project.

A Reward That Lives Beyond This World

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)

This beautiful promise reminds us that every brick laid for the sake of Allah is an investment in the Hereafter. A Masjid can continue serving its community for decades, making it one of the most impactful forms of ongoing charity.

Imagine the reward of every adhan that is called, every congregation that gathers, every Ramadan prayer, every child who memorises the Qur’an, and every heartfelt du’a made within a Masjid that you helped build.

Be Part of Something That Lasts Forever

Today, there are still villages in Pakistan waiting for their first Masjid. Your generosity can transform the lives of hundreds of people by providing them with a place to worship, learn, and grow together as a community.

Support this noble cause through Ehsaas Foundation’s Build a Masjid project and make your contribution towards a Sadaqah Jariyah that continues to benefit you in this life and the next, Insha’ Allah.

May Allah accept every donation, make it a source of continuous reward, and grant every donor a place in Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.
