World Water Day, on 22 March every year, is about focusing attention on the importance of water.

The theme for World Water Day 2022 is ‘Groundwater: making the invisible visible’ – highlighting that groundwater is an important part of climate change adaptation process and is often a solution for people without access to safe water.

Today, 2.1 billion people live without safe drinking water at home; affecting their health, education and livelihoods.

Sustainable Development Goal 6 commits the world to ensuring that everyone has access to safe water by 2030, and includes targets on protecting the natural environment and reducing pollution.

At Ehsaas, our Water Projects aim to provide families and villages in rural Pakistan with clean and safe drinking water and alleviate water-borne infectious diseases and improve the health of thousands of families.

With your generous support, we have installed over 5,900 water pumps providing clean and safe drinking water for thousands of families in Pakistan.

Only through your generous donations are we able to continue this work – Thank You.
