The International Day of Families, on 15th May every year, reflects the importance the international community attaches to families and their well-being.
Many of Ehsaas’s projects are aimed at helping low income families alleviate their poverty by taking care of their basic necessities of food, water, shelter, health, education and employment – all without compromising their dignity.
One of our projects is to provide Monthly Ration Packs to families in need and to date, we have distributed over 12,000 ration packs helping over 72,000 people.
A typical Ration Pack includes:
- Flour 20kgs
- Rice 8kg
- Sugar 5kg
- Cooking Oil 5ltr
- Daal Channa 2kg
- Daal Moong 1kg
- Daal Masoor 1kg
- Red Chilli Powder 200gm
- Coriander Powder 200gm
- Turmeric Powder 100gm
- Tea 800gm
- Salt 800gm
We have many families on our books that need your support. Please help us to provide them with Ration Packs.
Only through your generous donations are we able to continue this work – Thank You.
